Who to Assign to Each Job
For serving, try the teleporting CP9 agents, Enel, adult Koby or Kizaru; for kitchen vacancies, consider Terracotta, Wanze or Pudding. For outings, choose companions who meet the destination’s character requirements, and train the crew when low levels block progress.
Match the Assignment, Level and Daily Wage
Kitchen and floor jobs have separate staff assignments. Outings depend on which companions are available and how far they have progressed. Open Menu → Management → Staff after recruitment to put each hire into the intended job and review the following service day.
Daily wages affect your profit, so compare the cost of available workers before filling every vacancy. Affordable employees are a sensible early choice. Add a more expensive worker when the assignment solves a problem you can see during service.
Crew level matters when an outing obstacle stops discovery progress. Zoro’s break room lets you spend training points to level up the crew, and higher levels help clear those obstacles. Training also improves the crew’s service, while staff level contributes to cooking battles.
Compare Serving, Cooking and Crew Support Choices
| Option | Role | Details | Recruitment or Setup |
|---|---|---|---|
| Terracotta | Kitchen | A cooking candidate to compare when filling kitchen vacancies. | Work on hiring eligibility, then compare the daily wage in Management. |
| Wanze | Kitchen | Another cooking candidate for your kitchen assignment. | Meet recruitment conditions and check the daily cost before hiring. |
| Pudding | Kitchen | A cooking candidate when reviewing available kitchen hires. | Hire when eligible, then select the kitchen assignment in Staff. |
| CP9 agents | Floor service | Players report fast service from agents who teleport to tables. | Recruit eligible employees through Management and assign them to the floor. |
| Enel | Floor service | A teleporting server recommended by players for fast service. | Meet Enel on an outing to Skypiea, then work on hiring eligibility. |
| Adult Koby | Floor service | The adult version is among players’ recommended teleporting servers. | Meet hiring requirements before assigning this version to the floor. |
| Kizaru | Floor service | Players recommend Kizaru for teleporting between tables. | Meet Kizaru at Marineford, then work toward recruitment eligibility. |
| Sanji | Cooking and dish development | The head chef develops dishes using character ideas, recipe cards and ingredients. | Open Menu → Shop → New Dish to develop a recipe. |
| Luffy | Outings and treasure | Explores for supplies; when unassigned, can find Facility Blueprints in sea treasure. | Launch trips through Menu → Actions → Go Out; collect treasure from Luffy’s break room. |
| Zoro | Training and outings | His break room levels the crew; take Zoro for Loguetown’s visitor search. | Find the poster at Goat Island; Boodle must see it before coin recruitment. |
| Nami | Outing access and supplies | Unlocks companion selection; her break room sells ingredients and items. | Explore Arlong Park for information about Nami, then build her break room after recruitment. |
| Usopp | Menu support | Makes garnishes and can change their effects to suit your needs. | Find the poster at Little Garden, finish recruitment and use Usopp’s break room. |
| Chopper | Treatment and outings | The sick bay treats injured characters; Chopper is needed for Skypiea’s visitor search. | Find the poster on the first trip to Skypiea, then complete poster recruitment. |
| Robin | Dish improvement and outings | Improves dishes in her break room; take Robin for Long Ring Long Land’s visitor search. | Find the poster at Twin Cape, complete recruitment and build Robin’s break room. |
| Franky | Staff capacity and restaurant support | Requests can add servers; his break room handles expansion and furniture crafting. | The poster comes through story progress; Kaya must see it. |
| Brook | Training-point support | Live shows give training points for improving the crew. | Find the poster in Florian Triangle; Perona must see it. |
| Jinbe | Outing companion | Needed for the visitor search at Fish-Man Island. | Select Jinbe as the companion for that outing after recruitment. |
Fill Vacancies and Set the Next Shift
- Open Menu → Management → Everyone’s Requests. Complete requests that expand kitchen or floor positions, including Franky’s request to increase the number of servers.
- Meet more prospective employees through exploration and customer requests. Raise a candidate’s shop affinity and satisfy recruitment conditions; fan status or a battle can also be required.
- Hire through Management when the candidate becomes eligible. Compare daily wages with the workers already available, especially while your restaurant’s income is still limited.
- Return to Menu → Management → Staff and select the intended kitchen or floor assignment. Review the following service day before deciding whether another hire is needed.
Train the Crew and Unblock Outings
- Recruit Zoro and build Zoro’s Break Room. Spend training points there to level up crew members whose low levels are stopping outing progress.
- Replenish training points through exploration and hiking. Once Brook is available, live shows provide another source; joint training also requires hearts.
- Complete Zoro’s Training Falls request and build the facility for another place to train characters. Keep this alongside break-room training as your crew develops.
- After recruiting Nami, choose the companion needed for the destination’s event. Return through Menu → Actions → Go Out after meeting its character or level requirement.
Use the Straw Hat recruitment guide for the poster and visitor requirements behind your next crew unlock.
Fix Service Delays and Stalled Customer Wishes
Improve table comfort alongside your staffing. At comfort rank C, a table gains remote ordering, saving staff the walk to take an order. Check individual tables and keep them inside decorations’ effect areas.
If a customer’s dish wish stalls, check whether that character is working a shift. Staff on duty do not order, and characters receiving treatment in Chopper’s sick bay do not order either. The requested dish must also be on a set menu you are actually serving.
