How to Unlock Gunko and Shamrock

Meet Gunko at Elbaf, Then Complete Her Request
Meet Gunko on an outing to Elbaf in Sea 7, then complete her request to bring Figarland Shamrock to your restaurant. Their first appearances follow this outing-and-request route, without requiring you to finish a particular achievement-list page.
Gunko and Shamrock Unlocks and Fan Conditions

Follow the Unlock Route to Shamrock
- Reach The Most Treacherous Sea, Sea 7, and take an outing to Elbaf. Meet Gunko there to follow her character-unlock route.
- Open Menu → Management → Everyone's Requests and look for Gunko's request. Follow the requirements displayed on that request and complete it to bring Figarland Shamrock to the restaurant.
- Check the visitor information tab as you work on them. It shows shop affinity, satisfaction and restaurant wishes, helping you keep track of each character's progress.
Gunko's request and her fan condition lead to different outcomes. Completing her request brings Shamrock to the restaurant, while giving her the Tone Dial makes her a fan. Treat these as separate tasks when deciding what to work on next.
Give Gunko a Tone Dial
- Take outings to Skypiea to find the Tone Dial. This is the equipment gift that satisfies Gunko's fan condition.
- Open Menu → Actions → Gift and give the Tone Dial to Gunko. Giving her this specific gift makes her a fan.
Cook Gunko's Steak to Make Shamrock a Fan
Gunko supplies the idea for Steak with Aspatch Rock Salt, and unlocking that dish makes Shamrock a fan. The recipe uses a Main Dish Recipe and Rare Spices and Herbs. This gives you a clear cooking goal alongside Gunko's request to bring him aboard.
- Open Menu → Shop → New Dish. Choose Gunko when selecting the character whose cooking idea you want to use.
- Select a Main Dish Recipe and Rare Spices and Herbs. Use this combination with Gunko's idea for Steak with Aspatch Rock Salt.
- Review Sanji's possible dishes, choose Steak with Aspatch Rock Salt and confirm its development. Unlocking the steak satisfies Shamrock's fan condition.
If an ingredient is greyed out, you do not have it yet. Gather the missing ingredient before returning to the recipe. Once Gunko and Shamrock are fans, they visit more often and keep visiting after you move to another sea.
Raise Shop Affinity With Sky Resort Single Rooms
If Gunko and Shamrock will not stay at the hotel, try assigning them to single rooms. A Steam player with the same problem reports that individual rooms allowed them to stay. Guests staying at Sky Resort Island gain shop affinity each morning.
- If you have not built Sky Resort Island, take an outing to Punk Hazard in Sea 6. The resort becomes available through the shop recruitment list afterward.
- Assign Gunko to a single room at Sky Resort Island. Choose a single room for Shamrock as well; this is the room setup reported to solve their hotel problem on Steam.
- Let the game reach the next morning with them staying at the resort. Check their shop affinity in the visitor information tab to follow their progress.
