Where Bunchi Reins Come From
Get Bunchi Reins from a sea-creature encounter in sea 2, keeping Zoro available for passive sea collection while you wait. Obtaining the reins satisfies their item-collection objective on page 2 of the achievement list.
Bunchi Reins come from the sea encounter rather than a normal outing chest or a named customer request. Leave Zoro available instead of taking him on every outing. Then let in-game days advance while you watch for Bunchi.
Bunchi Reins at a Glance
| Item | How to Get It | Use and Objective |
|---|---|---|
| Bunchi Reins (バンチの手綱) | Find Bunchi through a sea-creature encounter in sea 2. Keep Zoro available for passive sea collection. | Required for goal 24 on achievement-list page 2. Place the sea-creature reward in Invitation Space for interactions. |
Reach the Right Sea and Free Up Zoro
Reach sea 2 before you settle in to wait for Bunchi. If you are still in the Sea of Beginnings, check Menu → Actions → Sea Objectives and finish that sea’s goals. Win the cooking battle that follows to open the next sea.
If Zoro has not joined yet, follow Zoro’s recruitment guide for his poster and visitor sequence.
How to Obtain Bunchi Reins
- Travel to sea 2, identified as 四季折々の海, and stay there while you look for Bunchi’s sea-creature encounter.
- Leave Zoro available for passive sea collection. Avoid sending him on every outing, since his absence reduces opportunities to encounter sea creatures.
- Let in-game days advance and watch for Bunchi. Finding the encounter can take a while, so keep Zoro available as you continue playing.
- Befriend Bunchi during the sea-creature encounter to receive the reins. Sea creatures give you their items when you befriend them.
If Bunchi Has Not Appeared
Check your current sea and Zoro’s availability before changing your approach. Bunchi’s encounter belongs to sea 2, and repeatedly sending Zoro away limits his opportunities for sea encounters. Keep him available and allow more in-game days to pass.
Use the Reins at Invitation Space
- Complete Luffy’s request that unlocks Invitation Space, then build the facility so characters can interact with befriended sea creatures.
- Select Invitation Space and set Bunchi Reins in an item slot. This is where you place the rare items received from befriended sea creatures.
Confirm the Objective and Work Toward Ace
Check goal 24 on page 2 of the achievement list: its condition is to get Bunchi Reins. Obtaining the item satisfies that objective. The achievement condition is collecting the reins; Invitation Space gives you a way to use the sea-creature reward afterward.
