How to Reach the Next Sea

Complete the current sea’s five goals, then win the cooking battle against the false Baratie to unlock the next sea in ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet. Build toward those goals by serving customers, fulfilling requests, collecting outing rewards and recruiting the missing Straw Hats.

Opening Route From Your First Dish to the Next Sea

  1. Develop your opening dish with Sanji through Menu → Shop → New Dish. Choose a character with an idea, a recipe card and an ingredient, then select from the possible dishes Sanji presents.
  2. Place three tables through Build so customers have somewhere to sit when you open.
  3. Relocate through Action to the Sea of Beginnings to open the restaurant for business.
  4. Fulfil available wishes in Menu → Management → Everyone’s Requests. These reward facilities, items and berries, giving you more ways to develop the restaurant.
  5. Send Luffy to Windmill Village through Menu → Actions → Go Out. You can collect Chunk of Meat there, and the first trip rewards a Side Dish Recipe for further cooking.
  6. Explore Goat Island next to obtain Zoro’s poster. The first-trip rewards also include a Dessert Recipe, giving you another dish category to develop.
  7. Display Zoro’s poster in the restaurant so Boodle can see it and reveal Zoro’s location.
  8. Select Zoro’s poster after his location is revealed and pay the required coins to recruit him. His break room unlocks crew training.
  9. Recruit Nami from her story-progress poster after Hachi visits from Arlong Park and reveals her location. Select the poster and pay the required coins; Nami’s return lets you choose an outing companion.
  10. Recruit Franky from his story-progress poster after Kaya visits and reveals his location. Select the poster and pay the required coins; his break room provides expansion, facility requests and furniture crafting.
  11. Assemble set menus as the feature becomes available, combining a main dish, side dish, dessert and drink. Compatible dishes increase a set’s price, and sets level up as they sell.
  12. Complete the remaining goals shown under Menu → Actions → Sea Objectives. Finishing all five opens the cooking battle against the false Baratie.
  13. Win the cooking battle to unlock the Sea of Seasons. If you lose, improve your sets and try again on the next in-game day.

If a dish wish stays incomplete, put the requested dish into a set menu you are actually serving. Automatic set creation can leave cheaper dishes out, so add the dish manually. Keep checking Everyone’s Requests as outings introduce more customers.

Goals That Unlock Each Sea’s Cooking Battle

Every sea has five progression goals, and clearing them opens its cooking battle. Customer and fan goals count people from the current sea, so returning fans from earlier waters do not replace local visitors. Use the requirements below to identify what is holding up your next battle.

SeaRequired Goals

Sea 2: The Sea of SeasonsBeat the rival’s daily sales; bring 26 local customers to the restaurant; find 7 Straw Hat crew members; visit 6 outing spots; make 5 local customers fans.
Sea 3Beat the rival’s daily sales; reputation over 200; bring 8 local customers to the restaurant; find 8 Straw Hat crew members; make 3 local customers fans.

For later crew goals, collect Usopp’s poster at Little Garden and Robin’s at Twin Cape. Chopper’s poster comes from Skypiea; Brook’s comes from the Florian Triangle, and Jinbe’s from the Sabaody Archipelago. Display each poster and recruit the crew member after the matching visitor reveals their location.

Use the Straw Hat recruitment guide for the full poster locations and matching visitors.

Prepare Sets That Beat the False Baratie

  1. Edit your sets before the battle to balance price and tastiness. Cooking battles compare those stats alongside staff level, so train weaker staff as part of your preparation.
  2. Choose a set that suits the announced theme, such as meat or soup, to earn a theme bonus. A very tasty dish can still win without matching, so compare the alternatives you have available.
  3. Retry on the next in-game day after a loss. Use the interval to improve your sets, including garnishes that raise tastiness, before challenging the rival again.
05

Keep Playing After the Score Tally and Ending

On the morning of day 51, the game tallies your score and unlocks Fast game speed and New Game+. You can keep running the restaurant beyond this checkpoint and the story ending. Finishing the story is not required before you use carry-over.

  1. Save after the score tally so New Game+ can use the eligible progress in your latest save.
  2. Choose New Game to start again with eligible data carried over. Progress saved after day 51 also counts toward that carry-over.

After The Most Treacherous Sea, continue into the postgame Sea of Wonders. Hidden visitors, including many film characters, arrive as your sales ranking rises. Its sea goals and the achievement list give you further targets after the main story.

When Big Mom Stops Visiting

On Steam, players have encountered Big Mom remaining absent while a table shows a reservation for her, blocking further Hunger Pangs and the Wedding Cake. If she has visited before, try adding tables: too few tables can keep her away. Reports about demolishing her event building and reserved table conflict, so that is an unreliable workaround.

For an active Hunger Pang, inspect her dedicated cooking room and cook the dish it requests. The sequence occurs seven times in total and then stops; its dishes mostly need Rare Fruit Platter and Rare Dessert Ingredients. The official version 1.0.9 notes describe general stability improvements without naming a specific Big Mom fix, so they do not establish a guaranteed solution to missing visits.
